NetSum Installation =================== Setup requirements: Windows 3.X 2 MB hard disk space The following files are used to setup NetSum, and are included in this package: CMDIALOG VB_ 10,865 04-28-93 12:00a COMMDLG DL_ 54,547 12-08-93 10:59a CSSPIN VB_ 13,342 01-28-94 2:28p CSTEXT VB_ 47,928 03-10-94 4:44p DDEML DL_ 23,670 12-08-93 10:59a GRID VB_ 27,975 06-15-93 12:00a NETSUM EX_ 36,489 08-31-94 2:29p NETSUM HL_ 27,305 08-31-94 3:41p NETSUM IN_ 152 08-31-94 3:17p QPRO200 DL_ 37,017 02-23-94 10:58a SAMPDATA CL_ 115,303 08-28-94 12:54p SETUP EXE 19,056 08-23-93 12:32p SETUP LST 51 08-31-94 3:44p SETUP1 EX_ 13,637 08-31-94 3:44p SETUPKIT DL_ 3,657 04-28-93 12:00a THREED VB_ 33,649 04-28-93 12:00a VBRUN300 DL_ 276,684 05-12-93 12:00a VER DL_ 9,696 12-08-93 11:00a NetSum installs from the Program Manager, after you have closed all running applications. If you have the NetSum distribution diskette: --------------------------------------------- 1) Place the diskette in your 3.5" floppy drive. 2) From the Program Manager, select File menu and choose Run. 3) Type a:\setup and press Enter. If you have the NETSUM.ZIP file: -------------------------------- If you have not already unzipped the file completely you may wish to copy it into a separate directory first to make deleting the installation files easier. Then follow steps 1 through 3 below. If you have already unzipped the entire file then simply close all running applications and install NetSum from the directory where you expanded the file, or create a new directory and move the installation files into it. Then install as follows-- 1) From the Program Manager, select File menu and choose Run. 2) Type c:\dir\setup and press Enter. (Where "dir" is the directory where NETSUM was unzipped.) 3) Delete installation files (listed above) to reclaim disk space. Some shells that replace Program Manager may use DDEML.DLL or COMMDLG.DLL, and not let you install files with the same name that come with NetSum. In the case of DDEML.DLL the Setup program will simply tell you the file is in use--OK is the only option, and Setup does not overwrite the file. In the case of COMMDLG.DLL the Setup program will ask you to close all programs and reattempt Setup. If this does not work the only option that will work is "IGNORE." IGNORE will not overwrite a newer version of the file with an older one (Setup will not overwrite a newer version for any of the installation files), and the installation will proceed.
